Perhaps, as Street View seems to be useful only to about 1% of all iPhone users, and Emoji useful to 1/10 of 1%... perhaps we'll get an equally proportional update, like the iPhone will automatically pop up recipe suggestions on how to properly cook and prepare chit'lins, all GPS based to complement the cuisine of the nearest restaurant...

I agree with you on the Emoji icons. I can't stand them.

I do disagree with you on the street view feature. I use it all the time on my computer, and I could see using it more with the iPhone.

Perhaps it's a location-based issue. Out here on the eastern edge of SC, I cannot even get street view to appear. It might be a useful thing to some, but for me? Meh. Measurable only in micro-givacraps.

I wonder how many of these second rate 2.x updates we will get? it wasn't awful, but it feels much more like a 2.11... well really more like a 2.15, but i don't think they can do that. haha

Here in north-western Georgia/south-eastern Tennessee, every road has street view. There are only some smaller residential neighborhoods that don't have it.
