I wouldn't mind seeing Apple making printers again, though I don't think it will happen.

Also better battery life from the Apple BT mouse.

Mac iSurfbook: A Featureless Landscape

Apple, I wish for;

Lightweight laptop
Doesn't get hot
No big hard drive
Wireless
Touch screen virtual keyboard

Really just something that is not a PDA sized thing (no mini keyboard or mini screen- I have fullsize fingers and eyes), that I can grab and surf the net while watching TV, should I have an idea I want to Google.

Be able to toss it around, wipe clean easily, so perhaps out with the HD and in with Flash memory.

Touch screen virtual keyboard: - no mouse, no trackpad, just a touch screen that when I click (touch) a text field it jumps to the virtual keyboard that takes the realsize of a keyboard from the screen with a textbox at the top so I can see what I am typing, hitting enter returns to web page with text in text field.

Perhaps the screen has some type of J and F bumps so I know where my fingers should go to type, just like a real keyboard.

Really do I need a super duper much bigger and faster more feature filled machine to do the above? Nope. I still need my laptop, I think this is a new machine. It should do email, web surf and maybe sync in or connect to my other remotes or household automated appliances.

Imagine such a machine, no more remote clutter and something of this size would be hard to loose down the crack of the lounge. You could add in a keyring remote finder button, so should it wander to someone's room I can summon it from my keyring.

Hey is anyone else thinking like me?

Or is this being done by someone else right now?

GG.

Dear Apple,
I would like:

1. The current MacBook, but in a tablet form (that would force me to sell this iBook)

2. A 23" iMac model $1599 and then have the current 20" sell for $1499 and the 17" still $1299

3. An Apple PDA

4. Wireless Mighty Mouse

5. PUT AN END TO THE VIDEO IPOD RUMORS AND JUST KEEP YOUR CURRENT 5G's!

That's basically all I can think of really.

Apple PDA, after really honestly think about it, i would love one, give it 4Gb Flash Drive, Touch Screen(with Stylus), iPod Sized.. for 599 and BAM i'm there

Specs

Wi-Fi
4Gb Drive
Blue Tooth
Scaled Down OS X, with Pages, iPhoto, iTunes, iCal and Safari

I wish Apple would take note and acctually make a powerhouse laptop... I know the MBP is pretty fast... but come on....

at least 512 vCard would be nice... or Dual 256.

I customized an Alienware with AMD 2.4 Ghz 64 Bit, 2 Gigs of ram, Dual 256 Mb vCards SLI, 2 x 120 GB hard drives RAID 1, number pad!!!, 17" 1920 x 1200 screen. for 4000.

MBP fully loaded 3500...

I'm sure the battery life is just down right horrible, but I really thought Apple would make the MBP a little more beefy... its MB's are pratically as beefy as Apples high end line...

I'm looking for a video editing laptop and I really wanted the MBP to just step up a little more... I will get it anyways once Merom comes out but I will be hesitently (sp?) dreaming for this Alienware...

I mean sure it doesn't look so great and runs Windows... but i'm not using Final Cut. I'm using Avid Media Composer and I'd like a work horse.

I want a 15'' MBP with FW 800.
I want a 13'' MBP that is neither a macbook nor a souped down MBP.
I want a new ipod generation.
I want a macbook with rounded edges
I want a macbook with backlit keys for the same price
I want a blackbook for $150 less

hm well.

Bluetooth mighty mouse
42 inch cinema displays
Apple Hd Plasma Tv's lol
a phone that is not liket he rokr but more lik the side kick, wiht OSX on it. that would be so cool.
touch screen iPods
a real gaming computer by apple ( i dont game i just think it would be cool seeing what apple can do wiht gaming)
cheaper products
