That sounds absolutely dreadful for one semester. Are you pre-med or planning to be a dentist?
He, he, if so on the latter, what do you think about gold crowns vs. porcelain vs. hybrid gold/porcelain? The darn crown costs more than an entire semester, especially since it's the third one on top #1 molar.
One dentist told me gold is closest to the human tooth and I just have a hard time believing that. But even then another dentist says top #1 molar shows if I smile widely so porcelain is the only good option with gold/porcelain as a next choice. I hope I am not jumping the gun with you but I just wanted to hear a student's opinion. I think some dentists are beholden to who makes their artificial teeth. Costs are roughly the same with all porcelain costing the most.
