Full disclosure, apparently some of the contact enabling gloves do work, once you get the phone unlocked. So you only need to freeze for a little bit, unless you lock the phone, then it's wash, rinse, freeze, repeat.

Some of the contact enabling gloves work on the touchID (though obviously not to unlock). I suspect it is a matter of getting better quality capacity touch gloves. Maybe ones with a nice big contact point on the finger.
Anyway, global warming is taking care of this issue:
2013 - 4th hottest year on record

2016 - on pace to easily beat 2015 . . .
STFUgate is appropriate given the number of sensitive snowflakes that seem to buy iPhones. Time spent whining on forums could be better spent returning the phone and moving on.
