This should be the question that is posted on this site instead of the weekly Verizon/Sprint/International/Blah blah thread.

When an unlock comes out for the iPhone 4S (not just the international sim unlock, but a true unlock) will you then be able to use a Verizon/Sprint iPhone 4S on AT&T & T-Mobile?
The question is IF it comes out unlocks are becoming hard to come by nowadays, but Sherrif hashim said he is working on it

Understood sir but alas my brother was able to activate a VZW ip4 on the sprint network they just had to add the ESN to the database which they did

ip4 or 4s? If that happened then your brother is very very very lucky that some one added the ESN. Again nothing prevents sprint from adding the ESN except that employees are not allowed to do it

My VZW iP4 was activated on sprint they had no issue doing it whatsoever

Idk I didnt do it I gave it to my brother and he somehow got it on sprint hes alot better with that stuff

sprint has similar procedure but we are talking about verizon iphone on sprint. *228 doesn't apply

According to my brother they added his ESN a manager overrided it allowing to go and then he called the number provisioning his phone though the manager isn't supposed to do it it can be done though its RARE according to my brother

I have never heard of Sprint doing this unless it was a MVNO. (reseller) I know you can get Sprint phones on PagePlus (verizon reseller) or at least you used to be able to.
