Whenever my dad buys it so probably first week. Hopefully i will sell my MB and get a new SR MB to go with it

When I get my MB this summer, hopefully replete with Santa Rosa. Mmm, Santa Rosa, Leopard and a shiny new MB.

Would switching from a Windows machine to an iMac with Leopard count?

My introduction to Vista persuaded me to buy a Mac, now just sitting around saving money and waiting till it's release.

To be honest, the longer they hold out on releasing it the more money I can save so it is doing me a favour.

I'd like to know when you guys are upgrading to Leopard.

Personally, im going to wait until 5th update on it comes out, then ill buy it. I dont want my MacBook exploding from an unknown firmware update.

You do realise that could be a year or more after its released? 10.4.9 has only just been released 2 years since 10.4 was released.

I'll probably be one of those people lined up at midnight at the special Apple Store party, assuming they have one like they had for Tiger. There really isn't any incentive for me to go since I'm not even old enough to be eligible for the scratch card give-away things, but oh well, I guess I like Apple that much.

Im weighing up what i want first. 2Gb RAM upgrade, or Leopard. I can only afford to do one at a time.

Also, i want the best platform possible to run Leopard off ... i guess i just answered my own question!

Yea, I'm going to get leopard the day it comes out. I haven't noticed any differences between the 10.2.x-10.3.x-10.4.x releases... only differences I've noticed are the cat names changes.

Definitely the day Leopard comes out. I only came to macs since Tiger came out, so I haven't had the joy of a new OS release yet. I'm definitely excited. :D

the day it comes out I wanna get to an Apple store and buy it. So probably later that day... or maybe even on the bus back if I take my laptop with me
