So when can I expect the new iPhone?

I was really hoping that Apple would come up with a new iPhone this WWDC. My contract is about to expire and I want a new iPhone!

Yes, September/Early October. It will be released alongside iOS 5.

No offense, but no one should have expected a new iPhone at WWDC given the mass amount of information (releasing a Verizon iPhone months prior, making a big deal about a White iPhone a month before WWDC). Also, they won't release a new iPhone without a new iOS; and a new iOS has to be given to developers before it's released for testing (at least 2 months of testing).

What you're saying makes complete sense to me, I just want a new iPhone asap! But yes, I guess September/October could be it. Will they hold a special event for it? I guess so.

Did this really get posted? There are only 3,782 different message threads saying there would not be a new iphone (4s or 5) until late summer - probably Sept/Oct.
