I returned the 12 Pro yesterday. I love everything about the 12 Pro Max. The big screen is much more immersive for everything, even just reading text. Every time I used the 12 Pro, I was disappointed with the smaller screen.

I agree. My only hesitation now is that the 12 Pro Max just feels too big. I used to have an XS Max and I loved the phone, but there were times when it was just too much. The screen is beautiful, but lugging it around everywhere I go doesn't seem fun.

I hear ya. For me, lugging around the big phone is fun. The big phones have always fit comfortably in my pockets, and they’ve never bothered me. I’m bothered more by the feel of a small phone in my pocket. 😊

Im thinking about returning my sons.iphone mini i paid full retail for.and using that money to pay off the 12 as.he said he wanted a bigger screen and i want it to use Verizon. Currently on AT&T. Ill see.how.it goes in trading in either of the iphone 8 or XR and use that money towards the 12.pro. A.big dilemma

I did. I returned my 12 Pro Max. I liked the size of the screen, but could not commit to the size and weight. Going back to the 12 Pro felt more natural and pleasant for me. I spent about a good couple of hours with it and at first I really enjoyed it. After an hour or so, the novelty of the big phone wore off quick and I found myself enjoying the size of the 12 Pro more. It was tough since I really wanted to like it too.
I'll only keep.my pro max if Tmobile goes.throuth with my trade in for i think it's ,$850 and a $200 gift card i think.

Yes like to the beach, on walks, mall, or around the house? I feel ya

I have both. Love the battery of the max. Leaning pro, because as frustrated as I’ll be when my phone dies at 7pm after a long day at work, it’s hard to beat the way the pro feels in the hand. Tight tight tight.

For anyone still on the fence, I ended up getting a PopSocket Slide for my 12 Pro Max and so far it’s making a huge difference on comfort for holding the phone. I was getting some serious pinky pain from holding that monster upright, but with the PopSocket it adds another point of contact to give people like me with small hands some extra leverage.

I was about 50/50 for exchanging this sucker for a Pro when I first got it, but now with the PopSocket, I’m more like 90/10 for keeping it. With the Slide model, it attaches easily to the sides of the phone/case and you can remove it without any fuss if you want to charge with MagSafe. Supposedly they are also working on an actual MagSafe version of the PopSocket also.

I promise I’m not a spokesperson lol, just very glad I decided to try this out before exchanging.

Well, I got the Pro and used it for a week and returned it since the battery life was a deal breaker for me. Not on my Pro Max and really enjoying it. Coming from 11 Pro Max, looking at the reviews, I thought the screen size would be a big deal in terms of accessibility. Honestly, I have not experienced any such issues and my experience remains the same. I am using it with a case and pop-socket, which was how I was using my 11 Pro Max.

Battery life that bad on your pro?

Returned the pro for the pm and after 5 or so days of using and this being my first big phone, I have to say I’m hooked on this phone for now...yes it is big but in a good way in so many things....glad I gave it a try and returned the pro...I had to take lots of pics for my company yesterday and the camera really is the best I’ve used so far...to me the pros) out weigh the cons by far

How about carrying it around? Any issues ?

I haven't been able to find one for IPhone 12 Pro Max. Which one did you get?

I received my 12 Pro on launch day and I just received my 12 Pro Max. I have until Tuesday of next week to return my 12 Pro if I decide I like my 12 Pro Max. That gives me roughly three days to decide if the bigger phone is worth keeping or not.

I'm wondering if anyone is else is in the same boat as me? If so, which way are you leaning? 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max?

so what did you decide?

Had my Pro for two months now and loving the smaller size after years of plus sized phones including the 12 Pro Max. If Apple had kept the 12 Pro Max at 6.5” and reduced the size a little instead of increasing the size abd going to 6,7” then I would have kept it but it was just too heavy and unwieldy

They should have made the Pro phones especially the Max out of aluminum instead of steel. It would still have a premium feel, it would really help with weight too.

For those that return. When going to the Apple Store to pickup your order can you also return a device that’s within the return period during pickup at store ?

I swapped my Pro Max for the regular Pro. I just couldn't get used to the size and especially the weight. I also moved from PB to the classic Silver finish :)

Yep, you can complete the return during your pickup appointment. You need to have everything that was included in the box (phone, documentation, and cables).
