I think for everyone walking into that movie there will be scenes that will cause you to laugh your ass off and others which will make you turn away or think "this is stupid."

I found most of his material to be good, but the scenes involving the nudity and other gross items made me turn away. I am not into the "potty humor."

The "running of the Jew" and bed & breakfast scenes made me laugh the hardest.

idk...i didnt find many parts that werent funny, even the nude fighting scene killed me, though the evangelicals were scary as hell.

good good stuff. my initial take was that it was "pretty funny"... and of course there were parts that were hilarious, and some that were just disturbing.... but now having recounted many of the scenes to various people who haven't seen it, i'm finding it's even funnier in hindsight. i'm sure i'll be seeing this again, on dvd at least... should be some hilarious extras too.

know what you mean thinking back on it I find it funnier and funnier gunna have to go in for a second view.

Just got back from seeing it. This movie is freakin' hilarious! Coupla comments:

1. Where was Azamat's schwanz? Is he really THAT fat? :shudder:

2. According to Borat, everyone knows that iPod minis are for girls. :p

I love Borat, I think he's one of the best comic characters of the last 20 years or so.

Cohen stays in character for months on end in order to get it just right. I can't wait to see this movie, it sounds hilarious!

I saw it. best film I've ever seen, just because I laughed from pretty much start to finish. That's all I can say right now. It's also the only film I've seen that I could watch again. haha. Borat never ceases to amaze me, along with the Americans he targets  now Borat is an act but them guys? especially the guys in the motorhome. bloody hell. I hope I never see them in real life.

I just LOVE how he's everything we expect someone from that part of the world to act like. He's from Kazakhstan, yet he drops Polish in from time to time. Unless they have a similar language. It's excellent.

"Chocolate face"
poo bag
the whole fight scene

all made me fall off my seat!

who is Borat? Commercials. Sorry never heard of him before. The previews look stupid to me. But from you all are saying I guess it is funny. Sounds like my kind of humor. Have to go with my brother. Hubby wouldn't like it.

Borat is played by Sacha Baron Cohen, a comedian in the UK. He has his own tv show, Da Ali G Show, where he plays Ali G, a wannabe rapper. Cohen is Jewish, and he is actually very smart behind his ignorant facade.

Borat is one of the characters he plays in his show. His next movie will be him as Bruno, a gay reporter.

I really enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong, I feel guilty for how much I enjoyed it, but I really enjoyed it. :D

Did you hear he got bitch slapped by someone this week in NYC? And Hugh Laurie had his back! ROFL

could have been good if 1/2 the SKITS were taken out and it was a 30 minute show on HBO...

Cohen good..

Borat.. C-

"Stranger Than Fiction" - WOW.. freaking brilliant

very funny movie.

so offensive, so funny.

just the way i like it!!!!

they got arrested in almost every city they shot in. literally!!!

"In Washington I met a genuine chocolate face" :D

Borat was hilarious, but it seems to me that the people that find it the funniest seem to be jews, (myself and all of my jewish friends included) that are technically being descriminated against. The movie was fabulous and funny, but i didn't find it offensive because of the over-the-top-ness of it all. The Running of the Jews? Fabulous. Sexytime? Go for it. It just iritates me that some people really think Borat exists and isn't a character... and to them i just shake my head in shame

I saw it.. it was hilarious!! :)

Have y'all seen the article about some of the "unwitting stars" wanting to sue for more money though?
some people.. *shakes head*

It was a great movie. Some scenes were extra gross, and it dragged a little at the end. That being said I recommend this movie to anyone who likes to laugh.

Havent seen it, but I know some of my friends from Kazahastan are really, really f***ing pissed at it.
Apparently, no one over in that area of the world has any sort of sense of humor about anything. The movie's even been banned in Russia because it's insensitive to certain ethnicities and religions.

If anything, they should think it's funny (or disturbing, or both) about the things Americans will say when they think no one will ever know.

It's very funny, but those who are saying that it's the best movie ever and the only movie that can be watched again are fooling themselves.

It's definitely a must-see, whether that's in the theatres or renting it later. Very very funny. Just make sure you have a sense of humor and don't take everything too seriously.

Isn't that always how that is? Comedians always have the greatest right to make fun of their own kind... Dave Chappelle makes fun of blacks, Russell Peters makes fun of Indians, Sasha Cohen makes fun of Jews.

But it is too funny that people don't pick up on the joke. Like Cohen getting punched up by some guy in NYC this week?
