You need to claim your copy before that date. I think everything has to be postmarked by January 4th if you submit via mail.

Just got off the phone with Apple Store, rep said that orders of iMacs and Laptops made on October 26th WILL ship with Leopard pre-loaded.

According to this guy, yes, you will receive an iMac with Leopard pre-installed.
