An Apple representative just told me that I can't preorder a 4S unless it was for a single line. If I want to add myself to my mom's Verizon account is it possible to pre order?

So you can't add a line/preorder from Apple?

Adding a line did have problems in the past with AT&T. You had to preorder through your carrier if you wanted to add a line.
