This is completely inexcusable.
My iPad 2 is now stuck in recovery mode, and apparently will remain stuck until such a time where Apple's activation servers decide not to be garbage anymore.
This is ridiculous... I understand there are millions of people trying to update devices, but that's not an excuse for a company as powerful, large, and profitable as Apple.
Spend $700 on a device, wait six months for a software update, and then have your iPad bricked when you go to actually update it.
