Of course they do. Walt is salivating. Hope he does a thorough battery life review!! Of course, if he does, it might be his last review.

Mossberg wrote that Steve jobs showed him advanced projects way before they were released.

Mossberg most likely gets the product well in advance.

Seeing something and actually having something are somewhat different things though.

Well, the iPhone 6 hardware is FINAL right now. It'll be in the general public hands in roughly 2 weeks. I'm sure Walt and David have one, but of course they can't be in public with it or talk about it until after September 9th.

No. Steve jobs invited mossberg to his house to show off product
Sure, I understand. What I meant is that it's different from giving the product to him for him to actually have and use on his own (at his own house or wherever he is, like it's just another new phone he got himself).

Anything is possible, but I really doubt anyone outside of Apple has one right now. I would lean more towards these people getting one under NDA sometime after the keynote address.

I'm sure, at least, one of them have it. But no one else. Pogue and Mossberg seem to be well trusted in the Apple circle.

Gizmodo, Verge, Engadget, CNET, etc... won't get it until after the Keynote.. and they seem to be usually under embargo until ~24-48 hours before consumer release.

they already drafted their reviews.

Just waiting now to publish them. Maybe rereading them a couple times a day making slight adjustments here and there.
