i skimed through the list, i didn't see "getting up at 7AM or earlier to go to an apple store grand opening..... " ;) ;)

I'm geeky enough to know this test was posted back in 2003, even before I signed up...

Edit: And I got 49.11243% - Super Geek on the test...

18.54043% - Geek

Now I can officially state that the hubby is geekier than me. All these years he's been trying to prove otherwise. I think it was the CS major and being in band in H.S. that did it for me.

I am a "Poser Geek"

hahah, beat that.

So yes, I am super cool compared to you guys!

HaHa, 4.9%! I'm not even geeky enough to put the whole decimal down!

Why only 5 digits of precision? What if I need more accuracy than that?

I wonder how many points you get if you check "Spock Ears - permanently due to plastic surgery".
i believe each checkpoint is the same value, so having spock ears permanently is the same as watching the history channel.

btw i got a 32%
not exactly, but it rounds to 32%

27.0217% - Total Geek.

Actually, probably a little higher than I would have imagined. There was a lot of stuff there I couldn't touch, but it definitely needs to be updated.

geeky enough to know that i can press Control Option Command 8 to invert the colors on that goddawful black background. i'm also geeky enough to not want to spend my time checking off that many of my geeky qualities. i'm a geek but my attention span has its limits. :p

I'm blond.

Ha!!! Waddya know!! Another around 2% (I'm 1.9 blah)

And both from the UK, Manc, no less!!. Guess we're just not as interested in inch high lead figurines, dungeon masters, calculators, and we'd sooner be in the pub than watching StarTrek...

Result

{Not blonde} :D

I've been to a Star Trek convention and can speak decimal, octal, and hex, but it looks like I'll have to get more into gaming if I want a higher geek score.

That list isn't up to date, though. No mention of a couple really good SciFi shows over the past couple years that need to be on there. Although, that would just add more to my geekness :D

D
A couple? Apart from BSG what's new and good that I've missed?

6.3% - I'm a poser... A lot of that crap was just plain Geeky (no offense). :D

Yea, well I might be the bigger geek, but you my friend are the bigger nerd dork & dweeb.

Seriously but not really :)

15.97633% - I'm a geek.

I haven't read other responses on this thread, though. I'm probably not as geeky. :)

We have a Math & Science boarding school in my hometown. I sent the link to some of the kids in my youth group from there. They should ALL take this test.

EDIT: DANG at the scores!!! KT - very impressive. I saw the stuff about economist and I knew you were going to be up there. I expect our moderators to be profound geeks!

I don't think I'm cool, I know I'm cool. :D

BTW, scored less than 9%. Would have scored less if I hadn't studied physics and chemistry at high school/uni, and more if I had a TV.
