Fred Mayer is part of Kroger,....... In this case if I need to buy something from Amazon, Lowe's, Home Depot, and so on, I buy gift cards along as the groceries I may need at Fred Mayer. This way I can buy 35 gallons of fuel that's is discounted by $1.00 per gallon.

I do this as well. Does FM offer 2X or sometimes 4X Fuel Points on Gift Cards. Kroger does.

To me buy the device that you changed the default password on because that's how hackers get into your network! This includes smart camera that get IP, The smart speaker connected to Internet! This how modern hackers get into your networks!

If I ever win the lottery, no one will ever know. I may buy a few things, but all I'm interested in is being able to do what I want to do and not worry about the bills.

People who go out and buy their million dollar homes and expensive cars don't think. There's upkeep involved. And what are the taxes on a million dollar home? What does your electric bill look like? On and on. Then you get family and friends coming out of the woodwork for handouts on top of it.

So, yeah…no.
Yea and then you have the houses in the development built by my parents with nothing inside. Guess they forgot you need to furnish too.

Apple as a brand has (ironically) came full circle for me.

As a young graphic design student in the 90s, I was very early to apple, and was a cultist early in the brand, long before it was cool.

In the early days of them becoming a more consumer oriented company, I was an Evangelist. I used to buy nearly every product they put out.

Fast forward many years, and now I have a android phone, and spend more time on my PC than my Mac.

Now it is the brand du jour for upper middle class normies in America, and hilariously I get flack for not conforming, and buying only apple products.

I got into them because they made the most interesting products, but I don't find that is always the case now.

I do own a bunch of their products still, but it is just funny that I get crap for being a "green bubble", after living and breathing apple for years
