    Some stunning images in that competition. Couldn't help but notice the winning image looked a bit familiar!

    Clearly shot at the same place (Wildarena Events) as mine.

    I prefer the number two shot of the Rhino.

    Just goes to show that it's not all about the gear. Winner was shot on a Nikon entry level camera with a Tamron lens!

    I think I agree about the rhino. I tend to prefer critters doing something at this level of competition, and it's got the contrast with the birds. There are some awfully good also-rans too...tough choices.

    Great shots. There some amazing photographers out there - and in here.

    For example @Mark0 should totally go for Outdoor Photographer of the year. IMHO

    If it's any consolation I think your frog is a nicer shot than the competition winner ;)
