is it safe to use that black soft cloth that comes with the macbook pro to clean your screen?

Should you use liquid with it?

yes ... i'm pretty sure it was included to clean up your mbp. screen included. i clean mine with it all the time without liquid. but i'm sure you can use liquid if you feel the need.

very cool thanks.

I was just worry about getting any scratches with the black cloth. Wanted to be sure first before wiping it on my macbook pro screen.

its meant to be used to clean the screen but remember to put it away in the plastic housing so that dust doesnt get on it. Last thing you want is dust on the cloth and you use it to scratch your screen.

Yes it's microfiber. They make clothes out of it, so yes you can wash it.

Just don't use fabric softener when you wash it, or you'll screw up the microfibers.

I have a bunch of these from 3M, and that's the one thing they point out for washing instructions...

It comes with the MacBook Pro and you should use it. I use iKlear on all of my Apple products consistantly with no issues.

Whoa mbps now come with a soft cloth???

I much prefer a remote... 😛

Cloth should be in the black box that comes with your MacBook Pro, which has the literature and the install disks. It should be wrapped in plastic. Apple not including the remote this time around and having to pay an additional US$ 19 is kind of cheap for them to exclude, but that's Apple.

If you really would like to clean your screen and computer, I highly recommend iKlear. It's fantastic. It leaves no residue and your computer looks nearly brand new.
