software advice?

I download a lot of mixes from my local radio station's website that are roughly 20 minutes long. Anyone have any advice for what program (hopefully free) I can use to edit these tracks just to pick the parts that I want and keep them as individual tracks.

Try using audacity, it's free and should be able to do what you want.
