Software help..

Hello,

If I buy software like photoshop, after effects etc. for my PC, will I be able to run this software on a Mac? I'm planning on buying a Mac pretty soon and don't want to buy all new software.

Windows versions of software won't run on OSX, but you could run the software either on Windows installed with Parallels or Bootcamp.

I don't know about the software listed, but some companies allow you to exchange the Windows version of their installers for Mac ones. 🙂

I wonder if they will do the same from Mac to PC, or if they'd just advise you "buy a mac"...

I've heard rumors. Mostly CHUDs, I believe, though one cannot discount the CHUD market.
