Hi Im new to the forum and to Macs.

I have recently purchased a recondishioned G5, just so i could set up Logic and run a little home studio.
What i am looking for is the name of some software that rips sounds from cd's. say for instance a particular Kick drum that i liked and want to use in a project.
Im sure there must be a program like it for the mac but because i have only just got into macs i wouldnt know what to look for.🙂

Thanks in advance for your help

I recommend a combination of programs for something like this. You can use iTunes to rip the track then Audacity to edit the audio. Make sure you rip as AIFF though.
