I have a powerbook g4 that i bought in 2006, it runs Tiger.
I recently bought an imac and my question was,
can i install the leopard disc that came with my imac into my old powerbook?
I tried and a window came up saying that the software could not be installed.
did i do something wrong or is it simply not possible?

It isn't possible. Restore disks are machine-specific. Please search next time, as this has been covered three times in the last week.
