I have a PPC Mac Mini that's connected to a TV, so i'd like to connect it to my Windows Media Centre box. I have gotten as far as mounting the Windows shares in OS X, and getting them to appear each time someone logs in. Music has been added to the iTunes library, and there are also quite a few photos in iPhoto.

What i'd like to be able to do is browse and view my photos that are in iPhoto, and play the music that's in iTunes, as well as play videos from folders shared by the Windows machine.

So what Frontrow type applications are available to me for this purpose? I've installed the Mediacentral demo, but it's only a 5minute thing, so isn't easy to asses it's usefullness! However, what i have noticed is that it's very slow on the PPC Mini :(

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks.

Download FrontRow from Apple, and if you fiddle around with some Bluetooth remote/phone stuff, you can pretty easilly use it for FrontRow.

Frontrow is really slow though (i have it installed on this Mini), and i don't think it'll work with the videos that are shared by my Windows machine :(

Mediacentral 1.2.1 seems ok, BUT it doesn't seem to play my videos! (it can see them, just not play them). Version 2.2 played them fine :(

[edit] Frontrow does work with the videos, but it has issues with the photos! it crashes sometimes.
