I have a three drive, software RAID 0 set in my MacPro.

I also have a bunch of old 1TB HDs from a DroboPro set I later upgraded to 2TB drives which I'm now trying to get rid of for $30 a pop. I want to pop them in, verify that they still work and format them.

If I remove all three drives from my RAID 0 set, can I then later pop them back in and all will work the way it normally does?

Do the drives have to be put back in exactly the same drive bays?

    Thanks.

    Yes, you can.

    No, they don't.
