Anyone know the whereabouts of a copy of "iStatsMenu ver 1.3" for OS X 10.4.11?
I've spent most of the afternoon checking Google links and they are all dead.

Why ain't ya runnin' Leopard James?

Matt you know me, retired, old and very bored.
I do run Leopard but I like to tinker around just to pass the time.
Right now I'm resurrecting Tiger on my G5 Quad, and I must say with a clean install and minimal customization it surely fly's.

I hear ya. I will eventually plan to install Tiger on my MDD on one of my other HDDs I Think Tiger is faster. If I could just work out the "bugs" i seem to experience with Tiger. Plus being able to use Classic mode is something I'd like to play around with. I might one of these days get an old G3 or early G4 for a OS9 machine, Mainly because I've never used OS 9. I have used System 7 and 8.6 but skipped right over OS 9 and straight to Panther. (did Breifly use 10.2 for like an hour)

V2.x has a dreadful memory or cpu leak or something. Quite often when starting up it pegged the cpu and set the fans racing. I had to ditch it for Temp Monitor in the end.

Yes, yes it does. The mem leak though is localized to the clock. Remove all the cities and disable the clock (use the one from the OS) and it should work fine.

Alternatively, if you really want to use the clock, write a script to force the restart of SystemUI Server each day to regain the ram.

Thanks for that, Erik. I shall give that a try as iStat is otherwise much better than TM. What a stupid bug, though.

Yeah, it held on til version 4. They knew about it and used it as a club to move people to Intel Mac. It's fixed in version 4!
