Hey guys, I accidentally cracked the screen of MBP. The left and bottom (both ~1cm wide) are "unusable". Though losing part of the screen, my MBP is still 100% functional.

I am wondering if anyone knows any software that I can adjust the dimension of the MacOS? For example, scale the MACos to the functional part of the screen, which I can still enjoy the possibility of placing my dock at the bottom/left, or using programs at "full screen".

This isn't going to work.

You need to replace the display.

Yes, I considered that. But here in Europe, it will cost more 650€ to replace the display. With my MBP being only 4 years old, I'm trying to find an alternative solution.

In a word no , you could do it on an external but not the built in screen.

Yes, that's what I would do when it finally kicks the bucket leg, but it's fine for now. :p Was just wondering if anyone knows any software.
