I got just the new macbook 13" and was surfing the web when a warning message showed up saying this webpage might be infected with malware. It give me the option "to proceed" or "go back to previous page". I selected the latter. I hope my macbook isn't infected with malware. Is there any software for mac that detects and scans for viruses/malwares? I know they are not as common as PCs but I heard there are still some out there. Btw- I was looking at someone's twitter page. Thanks.

It's a spoof site. It's not malware. If you read details on such sites, it shows Windows information, even if you're viewing the page with a Mac. No viruses exist that run on current Mac OS X. The only thing to be concerned with is trojans, which you must actively install, entering your Admin password. As long as you haven't done that, you don't have malware on your Mac.
