Software to fix incomplete XviD/DivX?

I have downloaded an xvid file, but there is a tiny bit missing in the end. VLC will only play the first few seconds of it.

I know there is some windows software to fix it, so it becomes playable, although something will be missing in the end.

Is there anything like it for osx?
