HI,
there are many apps which can monitor CPU load and history but I was never able to find a comparable app to monitor these same stats of the GPU.
No with Snow Leopard, Open CL and Quicktime Xs GPU support coming up such a tool becomes more and more important.
Right now the only way of "guestimating" my GPUs load is to closely watch its temp sensors....
Any ideas?

You are quite right. I have wondered myself about such a thing.

Maybe this:
http://developer.apple.com/graphicsimaging/opengl/profiler_image.html

And for NVIDIA cards under Windows, maybe this:
http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nvperfhud_home.html

I'm not sure if either does exactly what I think we both would like.

Cool, interesting apps. Especially the OpenGL Profiler. Unfortunately the way GPUs work makes it hard to output an exact percentage for its load I think
