Software to Share iMac SD Card Slot

Is there any software out there to allow the SD Card slot of a iMac, iMac10,1, 27", to be shared over a network? I have googled it but nothing points me in the right direction. Any advice?

Can't you right-click on the SD card when it's inserted, select "Get Info" and check the "Shared Folder" box just like any other folder? I just tried that and it worked.
