iPod software to speed up for 78 LPs?

Hi folks,

Well, perfect timing has the 1 turntable I have that does 78 records, busted. I need a new stylus I believe. But I have another turntable that does 33 1/3rds and 45s - I'm wondering if i can record on the 45 then chg the speed.

I know the Ion USB turntable says it can do this with the included software, but I've never used 'audacity' or whatever it is.

I use CD spin doctor from toast.

Any thoughts?
