Hi,

I purchased software about three months ago and since uninstalled it to free up space on my hard drive however yesterday I installed it again but Leopard had remembered the licence key so I did not have to re-eneter. I was just wondering why this is the case as I removed the software and if there is a way to prevent this information from being retained when an application is removed in the future?

Thanks.

how did you uninstall it? Was it by dragging the app to the trash or did you use a software to uninstall?

I purchased Appzapper and you drag your app to it and it uninstalled (delete's) everthing that links to that app. It sends it to your trash and when you are ready you delete it from the trash.

There are free apps that do the same exact thing i think appdelete or something like that. Anyway good luck.
