Software Update crashing

I was just trying to run Software Update when it crashed. Twice. Both times it would be checking for updates and when it got to about 75%, it would hang and then crash. I wasn't doing ANYTHING while it was checking for updates, but I did have Safari and iTunes open.

I sent a report to Apple and have tried this again just now and it does it again. Any clue as to what is happening?

And yes, I did restart and reboot.

What OS are you running? Some early builds of Tiger had problems with Software Updater so if you're on Tiger but haven't got 10.4.3 then I recommend using the manual combo download link. 🙂
