Software Update for Mountain Lion

I redeemed my free of Mountain Lion two days ago from the Mac App Store. When I look back under the "Purchases" tab in the MAS, it says "Downloaded". It is not being recognized as "Installed". Is that how it is supposed to be? When the software update rolls out, am I going to be able to download it from the Mac App Store?
