Software Update Issue - old iPod Software

Okay, minor annoyance and I don't know how to fix this issue. I have a 20GB dockable iPod that I use w/ my Mac. I downloaded and installed theh iPod Software 2.1 recently. However, the old iPod Software 1.3.1 (I guess this is the update for non-dockable iPods?) continually appears in my Software Update. How can I prevent this?

highlight the item that you do not want to show up, and then click update> make inactive. that should solve ur problem
