Hello -

I had an issue installing Safari 3.1, the update failed saying Unable to access files in "/". After rebooting, I repaired permissions on my disk and the update went through. This post is coming to you from Safari 3.1.

My issue now is that Software Update keeps telling me that I need to install the Safari update, even though it's been installed already. How do I make it know that it's installed, and if not, how do I remove that update from the list?

Help help!

Did you try to allow it to run even though it's installed? Sounds like a 'list' didn't get updated to exclude the update. If it will re-run then it should fix itself.

Yeah I let it run twice. Still no luck. Going to call apple support and see what they have to say. Thanks!
