Hello all,

Ok this is a bit weird...I was using the software update function last week and it was downloading a couple of updates for some software halfway through though I had to abort and figured I'd continue updating at a later point.

However everytime (it's been a week) I try and update now it says the following:

"the file "index-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog" couldn't be found on the server "swscan.apple.com"

I have no idea how I could fix this. I kind of would like to update my software apperently I'm not allowed to anymore?!

From all the research that I have done, it seems that this error occurs when the SUS is down. Thus, it should be nothing wrong with your computer but with the connection to the update server.

For over a week?
Perhaps the great firewall of China is blocking the update servers from Apple now? ... I'll blame it on the olympics.
Thanks for the reply :)
