Hi all,

I'm facing a problem with the software update utility on my Mac Mini. It lists about 4 updates that need to be installed (Leopard Graphics Update, Security Update, Safari, etc), but when I click on all of them (or even just one of them) and ask to install, it gives me an error message of this meaning:

"Leopard Graphics Update" Couldn't Be Saved. update-file-name.pkg couldn't be found on the server 'swcdn.apple.com' "

Can't remember the exact wording (and doing an Windows XP Installation now so can't recheck), but it's something to that meaning.

I tried rebooting and checking with each of those listed updates separately to see if it would download, but no luck so far. Any idea on how this can be fixed?

Thanks,

Have you tried to download the updates listed from Apples website and install them manually?

Thanks all, I didn't try downloading manually from the website (and didn't know that it was possible). My OS is Leopard.

Unfortunately I had to go through with a fresh re-installtion of the whole OS (I've bought the machine used from someone and it probably wasn't formatted properly), though the error message I was getting seemed more like the software update utility was going through the wrong links or something.

Now I'm going through the first set of updates, and once they finish I'll have to download the same ones that I was having problems with (Leopard Graphics Update etc"). If I face the same problem again I'll try to download them manually as suggested.

Thanks for the help.
