Hey guys, just bough a macbookpro.. i downloaded the software update (10.5.4), i restart the system and it starts installing, then in the middle of the installation the bar just stops moving and it stays there for hours during 'configuring installation' any help?

I've had that problem as well with one of my computers. If possible, I would download the 10.5.4 Combo Update from Apple's download site onto a second Mac, put the MBP in target disk mode (hold down T) which will make it act like a external hard drive, and apply the update from the 2nd Mac. That should fix it.
