I have a problem when trying to update through Software Update. My Mac does not find the 10.5.7 update... And not the new Safari 4.

I have tried to manually install these, but then it says its not possible to install on this volume. Very strange. There is space and the computer is only 1,5 year old.

Can anyone help me out?

Yes it is 10.5.6 at the moment...
I tried the combo but it was no difference...

The computer is a Mac Pro... I dont remember the spec, but I bought it in the end of 2007. (its at my job)...

I have done the permission repair as well...

It is very strange!

I would delete the plist file from the /Users/library/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist

Also, check the log for Software Update and see if it has any usefull information.
/Library/Logs/Software Update.log
