Is it possible to designate the time an update is downloaded??? Reason is I have a 24 hour MB download limit(satellite system), except between the hours of 2-5am, central time. Don't want to have to get up in the middle of the night to run a download!!!!! Thanks, 'MO:confused:

Not that I know of, I'm afraid you'll have to get up yourself and start the download. In my position, that'd be quite easy, seeing as I'm nocturnal most of the time :D

1. Open ical

2. Create an event at the time you want to run Software Update

3. Go into event details and select alarm, open file, other.

4. Navigate to /System/CoreServices/ and select Software Update

5. Choose 1 minute before.

Done
