Ok, is anyone else having problems with Software update? I just reinstalled X on my iMac to see if it would fix my iPhoto problem, and boom. First and error connecting to software update, and now it tells me my system is up to date with 10.1!!!!

Did you let it install the Software Update update (with the new package signing stuff) by any chance? I know when I did a re-install at the weekend it tried to force this on me. I did it first time and Software Update showed me as up-to-date, plus it wouldn't allow me to download the 10.1.5 upgrade combo package.

So I re-installed again, *didn't* install the Software Update update, ran the 10.1.5 upgrade combo patch (it's big - about 45MB - and can be found on the Apple support site), *then* let Software Update do its thing, and all was well.

I am downloading the combo update as we speak. I don't know what has happened. This is really wierd. The only thing that I can think of is that I tried to run iPhoto in 10.1 and it said it needed 10.2 and when I run the update it was an error, then up to date.

Weird

B2TM, I had that exact same problem.

Assuming you started from a fresh instalation of 10.1, you'll need to download the Internet Security Update then the program Installer Update. (You can do this from the Software Update CP or from the Apple website.) From there you should be able to update to 10.1.5.

Enjoy your updated iMac.
