hey there,
i am having major issues trying to do a software update, computer keeps telling me that the image is corrupt, so i download the images from the apple update page and they still will not install. Trying to update to itunes 9.0.1 and update iwork, any ideas?
I keep getting the error
"The update could not be expanded and verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading. The update will be downloaded and checked again the next time that Software Update runs."
thanks in advance

Are ALL Installer-based updates/installs failing with this error? If yes, Installer is corrupted. An Archive and Install of Mac OS X is the recommended way to fix this problem (Snow Leopard does this for you if you reinstall).
