software????

New to MAC so have no idea on how to manage the software. Can anyone suggest a good solid tutorial on MACs.

The main point is that I tried to add a linksys router and when I attempted to download the software it went to a folder I cant find and it has slightly but noticeably slowed things down.

How do I remove this software and do I need to any sort of cleaning procedure.

Downloads, by default, should go to the, um, Downloads Folder.

By the way, it's a Mac. That's short for Macintosh.

I don't think anyone refers to Windows as WIN however. 😉
