I have to say I’m really liking the solar dial watch face a lot. It has a slick futuristic look to it. I love spinning the crown and watching the color and light changes. I can pack a lot of complications on it without ruining the look.

I’m kicking Infograph to the curb and going with this as my daily driver.

I’m similarly impressed with iOS 13. A very impressive round of updates this year!

Me too, definitely my favourite face and the complications look nice and understated on it.

Do you use digital or analog for the time?

can you post a screenshot of the digital time with this face?
I think I have screen shots turned off and not sure how to do them, but you can see that on the left hand side of this page...

You and me both. I don't know why, but seem to like to know where the position of the sun is throughout the day.

Before, I even had the Sunrise/Sunset complication on my infograph face.

Here's the digital version. I'm with you guys - I love the new solar dial and always enjoy knowing sunrise/sunset times of each day. This new dial really adds to that.

I haven't upgraded yet but this one immediately grabbed my attention. Normally I don't like analog watch faces but this hybrid looks so cool.

As a side note it doesn't appear that I have the new watch faces in the watch app. I updated the app to Watch0S 6. Any ideas?

The watch app faces interface has been glitchy for me in iOS 13. Hopefully that will be addressed in 13.1. Definitely use the watch to select and configure faces for now.

I really like this face too but it’s not correctly showing the correct sunrise and sunset information. For example, as I write this it’s almost 10:00am EDT....yet the solar dial is telling me that it’s morning civil twilight, but the sun has been up for several hours.

Things I’ve tried to fix it: remove/re-install face, reboot watch, reboot phone, turn off then on auto time sync on phone.

Any suggestions to fix would be greatly appreciated.

I did a chat with Apple and got a followup phone call from a higher level tech, basically without actually saying it, he made it clear that they're aware of bugs and working on a resolve with the new watch OS and even IOS. Hopefully the bugs get worked out soon.

Astronomical, Nautical, and Civil Dawn, Sunrise, Noon, Sunset, then Civil, Nautical, and Astronomical Dusk.
The spaces between the different dawns and the different Dusks are Astronomical, Nautical and Civil Twilight.
If you turn the crown on this watch face "moving" time over these differently colored sections, it tells you on top, what you are just crossing. You also get a haptic "brrr"

Finally got it to work.

Re-pairing didn't fix it. What did work is turning location services on. That kind of makes sense as only knowing the timezone isn't enough to accurately denote the multiple dawn and evening twilights. However one would think that knowing your zip code would be close enough. :)
