So I sold my iphone 4S this week, yesterday I got the notification that my blank@icloud.com was now able to send and receive iMessages and facetime calls, I ignored it. This morning I got the same message but accepted it this time and it told me that all my associated apple id/emails were able to send and receive imessages and facetime calls on the other person's iphone(the one I sold). I've already talked to the person that I sold it to and they said they aren't receiving any of my iMessages, I've disassociated the old iphone off of my apple services.

Is there anything else that I need/can do to make sure that my iMessages wont be sent to the other persons phone?

Thanks in advance.

As long as the other person doesn't know your Apple ID and is signed in as you, you should be fine.

Pretty sure they don't completely reset the phone before selling it and I changed my apple id password this morning just to make sure.
