If only this worked with the dealerships...

I understand everyone's point about it not being worth it, but there's a principle here and that she owes $200. Do we always just say 'oh well, lesson learned' ? No we don't. If you do purse this further, you shouldn't do it for the money obviously, but for the principle of it. Just my opinion.

I miss a bill for a $20 purchased and I will be prosecuted and have a ding on my credit.

If I steal a $1 candy bar, I will be prosecuted

Yet when it's an individual getting taken advantage of and not a business, he should just roll over?

I would be pissed if someone did that to me, but what are you going to do? You asked the same thing in your other thread. Bang on their door every hour in your free time? Hire a $100/hour lawyer? Go to the police station so you can get laughed at? or waste a day of work going to small claims court?

I think people are saying it's not worth the stress, hassle for $200.

Just irritating how often people will screw with individuals but respect companies moreso in a sense

I mean every try selling anything on CL? You get bartered and whatnot to the extreme. These same people never barter buying a tv at bestbuy lol
