As much i enjoyed ultra 3 for 15 days its way too big and heavy for my needs....i also sold my 10 so i purchased an 11 and moved on 🙂
Yeah for the battery, no for the size..... i always felt that there is sth on my wrist when i never think of wearing 11..... also it pops out so much which makes it easier to hit on walls/doors etc.

The 11 gets noticeably better battery life than its predecessors, too - I typically have over 50% battery remaining after 24 hours, and I use my watch a lot. Stick it on the charger every morning while showering and it's good to go. It's easier for me to have a regular charging schedule than every other day.

lol why you gotta stipulate that it's titanium. It's not impressive and doesn't support your point. Actually it's more detrimental than it would've been if people thought you had the aluminum

They’re not the same. The titanium comes with the sapphire glass. That’s a pretty big difference for many people. I had aluminium too in the past and took care of it, but I know other people had problems. Also comes with my cellular too out of the box.

I moved from the Ultra2 to the Hermes and I love it. I used to have all of the Hermes watches before the Ultra and I used the ultra 1 and 2 but always did not like the massive form factor so I moved back to the S11 Hermes.

Interesting. I had a couple of Apple Watches which were OK, but I have really loved the Ultra version 1 and it still works great. Battery still lasts for almost two days.

?? Do you own one? Perhaps you are unable tell the difference, but some of us AWU owners can and prefer the titanium.

I see these posts regularly and don’t really get the point

I am wearing my Apple Watch Series 7 right now. I wore my Ultra 1 yesterday. I am considering if I need to upgrade either right now (I also have a gold Series 9 that does not need any upgrade). All get wear depending on the outfit, purpose, etc. All are excellent choices, but they have different looks for different purposes. The Ultra gets better battery life and has more watch faces. If I had to choose one, I would choose the Ultra. But I am glad the choice is available, and the Series 11 is excellent. With sales on both models, having both is a great option. And given older models work great, you can buy older models too.

If I were starting from scratch today, I would buy a Series 11 Size 46 from Amazon for $329 and an Apple Watch Ultra 2 from Amazon for $549 and alternate them for several years.

I upgraded from S6 which needed to be on charger twice a day under heavy use. I upgraded to ultra 3 and after two days of heavy use, I still had around 18% left. I am sure I can disable bunch of stuff to extend but I see no need to with great battery life.

Unless you want a watch face like Modular Ultra or Waypoint, which would fit just fine on an 11. 🙁
Apple keep missing an opportunity with watch faces. Third party apps suck, and impact the batter life of the watches. Apple constrains faces to particular models, and has created a have and have not situation. What about adding an activation code, to every Hermes watch strap, enabling purchasers to access Hermes watch faces.

I'm a big guy. Past 200 pounds, almost 6ft, and while I lift, I'm not in the shape I should be. Big in my name is because I get called that (and have since high school). Broad shouldered, wide, fluffy, etc... Yes, I do have a nice sized beer belly - what can I say.

All that to say that the Ultra 3 fits me perfectly. The largest non-Ultra Apple Watch looked small on my wrist.

Then a new coworker of mine (this year) - tiny lady under 5 feet tall and probably a quarter of my weight - rocking the Ultra 3. lol. It actually works too (at least I think so) - but I sure wouldn't have thought so before I saw her, lol.

My wife has the normal TI smaller sized Apple Watch. I think her watch, with her band was more expensive than mine, if I remember right. Apple sure loves us.

I think battery life alone would make it difficult for me to go back to the normal Apple Watch.

Yep. Look at any other digital watch and you've got so many choices. With the Apple Watch we've got to hope that we'll like something new in the tiny number of new faces we get each year.

This can't be right, 200 and 6ft ain't considered "big". Your BMI is within regular range. And you're average height.
Guess I shoulda been more specific. Xxl shirts barely fit me (shoulder and length wise). Blessed with an abnormally large torso and long arms. lol.

And past 200 = 230. For 5’11 I think that’s obese bmi range.

You see, I knew something wasn't right. 😉 So it's not past 200, it's 230 and it's not 6ft, it's less.

To be fair, the size of the frame doesn't matter as much as the size and shape of the wrist. The AWU3 fits me perfectly. And I have a 7 and a bit inch wrist. But it's flat. I've seen pictures of dudes with wrists like tree trunks and the AWU3 looked comical on them...

Wait what? 230 is definitely "past 200" and I didn't say 6ft, I said "almost 6ft"... but hey - whatever works 😛.

Yeah bodies come in all shapes and sizes - fat content matters a lot too. What I find interesting is how many people have their watch so tight it looks like a tourniquet on their wrist. The AWU3 is a massive watch. I prefer the G-shock shape watch (Garmin has some nice looking watches). But I'm so entrenched in the Apple ecosystem...

Also after years and years of wearing the AWU - the normal AW looks way too small.

When you bend your wrist downward - the Apple Watch pops up like crazy because the sensor pushes against the back of your wrist and forces the Watch up like crazy.

Technically you're not wrong, but practically past 200 means a bit over 200, even 209 would be pushing it. 210 would definitely not be past 200 but rather I'm 210.

I must have a weird wrist because AW3 fits me like a regular watch. Reading the specs thickness of 14.4 always felt like too much. But on my wrist it feels like a 12mm watch.
