Did anyone notice when the Hermes and Edition watches started being listed as "Sold Out" on the Apple online store? I just noticed it today, and wonder if it's an indication of new watches next week.

If Apple follows its trend with the Edition line (eliminating one material in favor of another) does this mean the ceramic models are now obsolete/collectible?

if so, that's a shame. I loved the white look, but got an aluminum gold model to see how the Watch works for me. I ended up loving it, and would have considered a Series 3 Edition in ceramic, but I wonder if that will even be an option.

This usually happens with certain products right before the keynote. This happened last year with the Apple Watch and certain bands as well. But that doesn't make the ceramic Edition a 'collectible,' it's more of a piece of replaceable tech. Perhaps it would be somewhat of more value or collectible if it was sealed and never opened.

But it very well could be an indication that a new Edition could be announced next week, Along side other models.
