I bought a SG 128GB Air 2 last week from Staples for $599 ($100 off). I emailed them this morning to see about getting a refund for another $50 because they're selling it for $549 this week. Either way, I'm pleased with the deal.

update (9/21): Just received a response from Staples. They're refunding $50 plus the $4.40 sales tax difference. Very nice! Thumbs up to Staples all the way around.

I showed up at staples for my "local pickup" and to my surprise(or not?) staples told me they had none in stock. Money has already been held on my card for it though. I'll probably end up cancelling. Went over to fry's to see if they would price match and they would but the upc from staples had to match theirs. Which they didn't, same iPads but technically different "version" since the upc does not match. Finally called target and they had just one left over and they price matches it.

I bought a 16GB Air 2 last week for $399, thought I was getting a great deal. So I see that Staples has an iPad Air 2 for $449 so my old one goes back to BestBuy and returned it then got them to price match Staples.

I am now the proud owner of a Space Gray 64GB iPad Air 2 for only $449 plus tax. I'm ECSTATIC. This is the model I really wanted last week but settled for the 16GB to save $100. For $50 more it was worth it to exchange models.

Like someone said up thread. Black Friday in September.

As noted, Best Buy will/should price match Staples.

In addition, if you bought last week, go back to Staples and they should refund the difference! These places have Price Match Guarantees.
