Tim Apple, are you serious?

First, i thought Solo Loop is so....kinky! but now i find out it comes in 9 sizes i'm sure...

I want to see a side by side comparison of the wrist required for the smallest and largest.

The reason they have done this, is because if they only ship it in S/M/L there will be a very large group of people whose Apple Watch will not be snug as tightly around their arms as it should be. This could result in bad heart-rate monitoring or the watch locking itself because it believes it is no longer being worn.

That's the ONLY reason I didn't go for unadjustable bands.

Sometimes I like to have my watch loose, other times snug (for example, during workouts). Unadjustable bands won't let you do that.
Unless you get multiple sizes.

This is so confusing...they should've done it in 3 sizes, S/M/L or something but 9? what's the standard...?

the whole point of the solo loop is a uniquely perfect to you fitting band... so perfect it doesn't need a single adjustment or clasp... the only way to do that and fit the majority of the human race is offering 9 sizes... the reason the other bands only need 2 sizes is because they adjust lol!

they have a printable band that your wrap around your wrist and it tells you the size to order.

Doesn't it technically come in 12 sizes? 1-9 fit the 40 mm and 4-12 fit the 44 mm.

they do come in two WIDTHS but the lengths (ie. the size number) seem to be the same because when you make the printed guide it is the same without an option for 40 vs 44.

Tim Cook is applauding!

I’m just waiting for the inevitable complaints that there aren’t enough sizes and the smallest band is either too lose or the largest one is too tight.
More like I didn't like the feel of the size I went for so I sent it back. I measured right. Just depends on how accurate the sizing on the website will be. I'll let you know in a week or so.

i'm sure the sizing is very accurate to the paper... the problem is how tight should the paper have been... just tight enough to leave no visible gap with your skin? a little gap? etc. some will mis-measure but i'm sure the band will have some flexibility so it might not matter.

There must be some give. After all what if I put on weight????

(I'm pretty sure its supposed to have the opposite effect! ;)

The Apple sizing guide says "snug but not too tight." I suspect most Watch wearers already know how snug they like their Watch to be.
